About The Process
 
Using your inspiration photos and creative vision, we will work together to create something specially made for you. Birkenstock designs require anywhere between 6-10 hours of paint time. Purchasing this listing marks your position in the queue and serves as a deposit. A final balance will be due upon completion of the commission via Venmo, PayPal or Zelle.
 
Prices
The price will depend upon the intricacy of the design and the amount of colors used. Elements such as birds, bees, butterflies and inscriptions are add-on features.
Below is an estimate for a custom floral design.

After purchasing the listing, please email me at Cara@RosalieGwenPaperie.com so that I can provide my address to ship the sandals. A custom listing is available upon request.
 
Lead time:
Typically between 1-3 weeks depending how long the current queue is. For quicker turnaround please email me to discuss your deadline.
 
Also needed:
- a general color palette (bright jewel tones, soft pastel hues, muted colors)
- inspiration photos, and specific flowers and botanical elements.
- what holes are used for the top and bottom straps (if applicable) if you're having the shoes shipped directly to me from a facility. Otherwise please adjust to your preference prior to shipping.
 
If you are wanting to give me full creative license on the design, I am happy to take the lead, however a basic color palette along with flower favorites are still required to provide a bit of direction as I design.
 
Please be sure to mention if you are wanting the shoes completed by a specific date.
 
After Care:
After the design is complete I spend another hour carefully applying a sealant that will preserve the design in a state of timelessness, rendering the art durable and waterproof, ensuring it lasts without fading or showing signs of wear. To spot clean a damp cloth can be used. It's advised sandals not be left sitting in direct sunlight for hours at a time.
