When I began gathering inspiration for my second floral collection, it wasn't long before I found myself more attracted to the receptacles holding flowers than the actual blooms themselves.

 

As I looked closer, there was SO MUCH BEAUTY leaping from the photos, just begging to be captured on paper. And while I don't suggest to have mastered this initiative, I retain the truth that each painting was truly an awakening in me. I learned much about the magic of texture, light source, and how to create an atmosphere of curiosity. There are literally a thousand details resting and singing and dancing within these vessels.

 

It is my hope that you, too, enjoy this journey and beholding the wonder by which I was inspired and led to create this collection.
